To support growing customer demand, the Pope Packaging Group’s in-house manufacturing facility, Plastipak Lanka, has invested in a new high-speed laminator and two automated bag conversion machines.
The upgrade increases leno mesh bag production capacity by an additional one million bags per month, strengthening Pope Textile Bag & Packaging’s ability to support New Zealand customers with greater capacity and reliable supply.
The new equipment delivers 33% faster lamination speeds, with advanced three-extruder technology providing greater efficiency and process control. Automated bag conversion and real-time machine monitoring will also support consistent product quality and manufacturing performance.
This significant investment marks another step forward in expanding the Pope Packaging Group’s in-house manufacturing capabilities and delivering the reliable supply, quality and service our customers depend on.
